How to cancel Patron
Patron is billed only through the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel it in your phone’s subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it. In the app, Settings › How to cancel takes you straight there.
iPhone or iPad
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Choose Little Prayer Stories (Cuentos para Rezar if your phone is in Spanish).
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Android
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile picture at the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Choose Little Prayer Stories.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
To avoid being charged when a free trial ends, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. The app reminds you 2 days before. After you cancel, Patron stays open until the end of the period you paid for.
A story won’t play
- Check that the phone isn’t on silent and the volume is up.
- If the story hasn’t downloaded yet, connect to Wi‑Fi and open the app once. After that it plays offline.
- Make sure the phone has some free storage space.
- Close the app completely and open it again.
- Update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
Still not working? In the app, go to Settings › Report a story that won’t play. It opens an email with your app version filled in. Or write to us and tell us which story.
Restore purchases
On a new phone, or after reinstalling the app, open Settings in the app (answer the grown-up question) and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with. There’s no account with us to sign in to.

Do I need an account?
No. You choose a language, your child’s name and age, and a bedtime, and you’re praying with Clara the same night.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything is stored on your phone and plays without the internet. New weekly stories download when you’re online, without an app update.
What about my child’s privacy?
Your child’s name and age stay on your phone and are never sent to us. There are no ads, no tracking and no analytics, and the child’s side of the app has no outside links. Purchases and Settings are behind a grown-up question.
What ages is it for?
Children aged 3 to 8, praying with a parent. Your child’s age picks tonight’s prayer: three Hail Marys for little ones, or a decade from age 6.
Is it all in Spanish too?
Yes. Choose English or Spanish and everything follows: text, narration and labels. You can change it anytime in Settings › Language.
What’s free?
Tonight’s routine, the full Rosary and the Prayer Book are free forever, along with three starter stories and each new story in its first week. Patron opens the whole library.
