Little Prayer Stories (Spanish: Cuentos para Rezar)

Little Prayer Stories is a Catholic bedtime app for families. It is run by [Owner’s legal name or company] (“we”). This policy explains, in plain words, what the app keeps and where it goes.

The short version: there is no account, no ads and no tracking. Your family’s details stay on your phone. We don’t collect personal information about you or your child.

What stays on your phone

The app saves these on your phone so it can work. They are never sent to us or anyone else:

• Your language (English or Spanish).
• Your child’s first name and age. Both are optional. The name lets Clara greet your child, and the age picks tonight’s prayer (three Hail Marys for little ones, a decade from age 6).
• Bedtime and your choices, such as the bedtime reminder, the way you pray, narration speed and vibration.
• Progress: which routines, Rosaries and decades you finished (this fills Clara’s window).
• Patron status: whether your subscription is active, so stories stay open offline.
• Downloaded stories and videos, so they play without the internet.

If your phone backs up its apps (iCloud or Google), this information may be part of that backup, which Apple or Google handle under their own policies.

No account, no ads, no tracking

• You never sign up or log in.
• There are no ads.
• There is no tracking or advertising software in the app, and we don’t follow you across other apps or websites.
• We don’t run a server that receives your personal information.

Purchases

The Patron subscription is sold only through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). They handle your payment; we never see your card or your name. To manage your subscription we use RevenueCat, which receives purchase details from Apple or Google (such as which plan you bought, when, and an anonymous ID created when the app is installed) so the app knows your subscription is active and can restore it on a new phone. RevenueCat also shows us anonymous totals, such as how many trials started or subscriptions renewed. None of this is linked to you or your child.

You cancel or change your subscription in your phone’s subscription settings.

Notifications

The bedtime reminder and the reminder 2 days before a free trial ends are scheduled on your phone. They are not sent from a server. The bedtime reminder shows your child’s first name, if you gave one, on your phone’s screen. You can turn reminders off in the app’s Settings or in your phone’s settings.

Story downloads

Stories and videos are downloaded from our content host as plain files. Like any website, the host sees your phone’s IP address when it sends a file. We don’t use it to identify you, and no name, age or other detail is sent with the download.

Ratings and crash reports

After a few nights the app may show the App Store or Google Play rating prompt once. Apple or Google run that prompt. If you allow your phone to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash reports. You control this in your phone’s settings.

Children’s privacy

The app is made for children ages 3 to 8 with a parent, and we take their privacy seriously, in the spirit of the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We don’t collect personal information from children. Your child’s name and age stay on the phone. A parental gate (a grown-up question) guards purchases, Settings and the few links that leave the app, and the child’s side of the app has no ads, no tracking and no outside links.

Deleting your information

• Settings › Start over clears your child’s name, age, bedtime and choices on this phone. Your progress (Clara’s window) and your Patron subscription stay.
• Deleting the app removes everything it saved on your phone, including progress and downloads.
• Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your phone’s subscription settings. Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat follow their policies; write to us if you’d like help with them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
