Questions about the Rosary
How many mysteries does the Rosary have?
Twenty, in four sets of five: the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries. For centuries there were fifteen, until Saint John Paul II added the five Luminous Mysteries in 2002. Each time we pray the Rosary we pray one set: five decades, one for each mystery.
